Anyone in Indiana been to Redbird state park? I have been wanting to make the trip. My Taco is mostly stock so I can't do anything that skid plates won't protect against. Would any other fellow Indiana TW members be interested in a run to Redbird?

I am about a half hour from redbird and have never been. Also have a stock truck. Hopefully some others join in and we can pull something together.

Ok then. Well what dates would work best for everyone? I'm thinking early Feb or late Jan? Has to be a weekend, due to park hours. I'm thinking early on a Saturday. Please weigh in.

Ok well I finally found decent video of the trails I have planned for us, thanks to our friendly jeep folks specifically Jerry. Please see link to his video page below with trails 25,26, 14 to 1 (FYI his jeep is totally stock). Considering the tight sections and the huge amount of snow we have our trucks might really get stuck if its too deep/muddy. We might want to wait till it dries out a little. Please weigh in with thoughts/past experience.

I'd be interested in going, live about half hour away. Those trails look awefully tight though, especially for a long bed. Anyone been there in a truck?

I was planning a trip to the Badlands ASAP as well if that interests any of the Indiana members. It is pretty wide open in the dunes with some trail wooded areas. About an hour and a half north east from Indianapolis. This spot might be better for those of us without skid plates lockers and sliders.

I'd be down for both. Not sure about everybody else but I just want to get out on some trails. Spoke to some folks at work, they had a really hard time in a 4runner at redbird. Everyone please chime in and lets get out there. Maybe we can just do both Badlands soon and redbird later?

Looks like we've got some warmer weather in the forecast. Anyone down for Badlands next week or the following as long as most the snow is melted.

Just checked out some videos online from badlands, definitely looks roomy enough for trucks. I'd be up for going soon, I have an unusual work schedule though so it might be tough to meet up with anyone...

My work schedule is also odd. Work mostly weekends pretty free through the week.

I could probably do next Thursday. Depending on the weather. Not exactly sure if the dunes would be worth while if they are covered in snow. I have zero experience off road on 4 wheels. So I'll be pretty novice out there. Let me me know what you think. Any others interested?
