I’d go 883’s for the front. I had 882’s in my third gen 4Runner and they sagged with time. 883’s picked it up 1.5” over 100k old 882’s.

Rear, I’d throw in a crossmember under the bed to relocate the shocks. TG is an option for springs. You can do AP mini truck springs if you’re redoing hangers too. I’d honestly venture to say that your shocks are what’s limiting your flex more than the leaf pack. If you do some measuring and find a way to put 12” springs in, it would be a big improvement.

Yes, 100% my shocks limiting my droop. No doubt. I have to jack up the axle to bolt the lower shock mount on. Haha. It’s not much though. Maybe an inch.

    Mini truck springs are longer?

If the trucks wheeling fine I would not mess with it. I liked my 882s and had them from the time I first lifted the truck until I axle swapped it with a winch the entire time same bumper setup and evreything.

I tell you my rear spring saga at AOP.

Uprights trucks that we're drunkenly flopped into a mini lake.

    Hypothetically speaking of course

Hopefully they waterproofed that control box. The old one takes on water like the titanic. I have so much corrosion and mud in mine I'm surprised it still works.

Good to know. Maybe I should do a little preemptive silicon work.

Carter, is the control box able to be re-positioned on the winch? Wondering how well it will fit inside the ebay bumper.

I preemptively siliconed mine when I bought it.

You mean removed and mounted in the engine bay or somewhere, or rotated on the winch itself?

I know it can be moved somewhere else in the bay/bumper by extending the cables. I'm meaning moved over to the motor side of the winch housing. Like an offset.

Worried it might end up too tall in it's current config.
