I'm all in at this point, already have 99% of the parts etc. just no time/energy/fucks. Wasn't planning on it being down this long, gonna be a mediocre swap compared to the build up lol

No shit, Hoff! You’re a freaking genius. Or I’m an idiot. Maybe both.

Yea, mine has those. Next time I have a good reason to dig in there I’ll definitely do that.

    Nice!

I was just about to chime in that mine is clockable too lol. Good time to get rid of the super sticky stock grease and put a good lube in so it’s easy to pull line out.

I learned from TTORA way back when! Not nerve wracking at all taking a brand new winch apart lol! I did it on 2 so far and they worked, I also added some extra red mobil1 grease when I had it apart. Probibly completely the wrong type but whatever lol!

Front suspension revamp needs to be next. Pretty sure I’m sitting at close to Stock height now. Loooow. Need to order some new springs. Got some super fancy bumps in yesterday.

Remembered I bought and installed longer studs on my coilovers when they were new so that just in case one day, far far in the future, if my truck became a fatass, I could pick her back up a bit.

Well, the future is here. Spent $25 on some 3/8” spacers to get a little lift back. Was going to swap coils, but meh...

Put in the new bumps from @Plastics Guy. Really looking forward to not slamming the hard OEM ones anymore.

Also threw in some 3/8” spacers to get some lift back.

    Just right.

Cool! I'm guessing that's what that crop is in the background where you are crying about the rain?

    Yes sir.

    Rotting as well speak.

Tobacco production here is going the way of the dinosaur. Will be gone completely in 2-3 years. Contracts are impossible to get except for the biggest producers, and even the big producers are getting cut way down.

It’s funny that I’ll miss something I loathed so much as a child. It’s so odd to drive around this county and see hundreds of empty barns. My kids will never top tobacco. They won’t know what black shank is. They won’t ever get tobacco poisoning from staying in the barn too long with wet tobacco. They won’t ever ride the setter with me.

A big part of my culture is taking its dying breaths, and I don’t like it.

    Nope. Haha.

Fly over to China and poison their crops. That’ll help.
