Called TG and emailed them a pic of the broken shifter plate. Replacement is shipping out today. Can't ask for much more than that.

Had a very unproductive evening. Looks like TG forgot the little dowels that align the cases. They’ll get another call tomorrow.

I did fit them together to test the triple sticks. The rear case shifts from 2wd/4wd and hi/lo so I guess my shift rail modification was a success.

    Welp...

TG is sending me some dowels. Got them to send me some free HD shift springs for the stock case too.

    Now we wait. Again.

Sometimes fast isn't always better. Frustrating even if they are taking care of it.

I have decided there isn’t a crawler route that isn’t frustrating. From all I can tell, neither marlin or TG have their shit together. Hell, marlin sold me a case in a configuration they don’t even produce, then had to call me back and explain “Um, sir... that $2000 part you bought... it doesn’t exist.”

    Lol

 This is true. It seems like it's putting together a very expensive puzzle.

It took me close to two months to build my lefty and rebuild my crawl box back in 2011 due to parts issues between inchworm and marlin. I think I talked to Josh the parts guy at inchworm more than my wife for that month or so LOL. Its par for the course with these, I have determined that if a project like this goes smoothly, the person is full of crap.

Trans will be fine, I have a trans from marlin and it's a cool setup how they ship it. It will shift REALLY tight for the first month, I thought it was broken but that's normal.

Thanks for the heads up, you feel like it was worth it vs just rebuilding your factory one?

How long did it take to ship?

I ordered mine monday and got a shipping notification today.

Considering my stock one blew up and took out 3 gears, I would say it's worth it. Plus it was only like $100 more than what the junkyards were charging for a used one.

With the damage I did to it, I came out ahead and marlin lost money on me!

When I ordered there was a 3month backorder, I told them my situation and they shipped it the next day.

The tooth the arrow points to overlaps the tooth on the passenger side shifter. I cut it along the red line.
