Idk but you don’t want these. They also suck. Haha. Have thrown them across the yard multiple times already.

How did you get them so clean? Lots and lots of brake clean? And +1 to channel lock snap ring pliers.

Just wiped them with the blue shop paper towels.

These work decently for snap rings that have a hole for the plier tip to drop in. They suck for the kind that don’t have the hole though.

I've searched high and low for a good pair of snap ring pliers, and this is what I have. These particular ones are for external rings, but they are solid, none of that interchangeable tip or reversable action bs. They cost a little more but I don't see these ever getting thrown in anger :D

Bought these and they worked perfect for. That type of snap ring.

It took me until my early 30s to realize projects are a lot easier if you buy and use the correct tools for the job!

@ThunderOne I recently purchased a set of 3 snap ring pliers off Amazon, they are orange dont remember the brand. Work pretty sweet. I also have a set of inside snap ring pliers that are massive from scrap-on that are pretty sweet as well, they were $$$ though. Purchased them for the huge snap ring on the crawl box main coupler.

It’s amazing how that works! Haha.

I had to buy a special socket made to remove bathtub drains a few years ago for a house I was flipping. Needed it again today. Was nice to have such an obscure tool on hand.

Why the hell did you put them in there? You didnt want fluid to spill and ruin the bed of your truck or something?

Well, I didn’t have the toolbox until a couple weeks ago.

Also, the little cubbies below the tilt-out windows are perfectly sized to hold two quart bottles each. So that was handy.

    Ahhh

I have a habit of epically exploding gear lube in evrey receptacle I put it in, hence why I'm amazed it would be stored in the cab.
