Excited to see how those tires do, I always wanted the radials, and just think that's a cool tread pattern overall.

Agree. 100 times better on road than the tsl. But that's obvious with grooves in the tires

Pretty sure even these would ride and handle better on the street than bias TSLs LOL!!

What do you mean, it's only like $8500 for 15more rear wheel horsepower.

Sitting here thinking, I would select your axles based off the lowest gears you can get. I have 5.29s, 37s and a v6 and it's still kind of a pig, but I can kind of accelerate in 5th gear. That would kind of suck with a 4cyl.

You're doing something wrong if that's all you are netting at that price

Hadn’t thought about that. I have no idea what exists beyond 5.29. I bet google does though!

My other set of advice is if you have to drive it on the street, focus on some onroad comfort. You want it to ride halfway decent and not be darting all over the road (see my comments on why not to flip an axle), it wears you out on long trips and you will start to hate the truck. I rushed to finish mine, and rightfully so, and then spent the next year trying to make it street friendly with nice tires, wheels, steering attention, air bumps etc. As cool as watching your swampers visibly bounce down the highway and then being able to blip the throttle in 5th and get them to spin in the rain at 70mph is, that starts to suck real fast. A nice set of MTs that are built for street and offroad go a long way to making the trip enjoyable. Same with a good set of beadlocks that dont leak and you are not worried about your flux cored beadlock ring coming apart at any moment on the highway. I'm not saying you need to link it, but get some good shocks and stuff like that. If you do go leafs, shackles forward all day!! I will talk your ear off about the advantages of that setup on the phone when you are ready.

So I read through the past few pages, and what I got was this: buy K5 Blazer, put Tacoma body on K5 frame, go wheel.
