Antenna installed. Coax ran into the cab. Accidentally bought the coax that requires you to solder the connection onto the end. Sooooo... YouTube crash course studying on soldering for me tonight. Probably something handy to know anyway.

While removing some interior trim to route coax, I noticed my floor was wet under my floor mat. And under my vinyl. No idea where it's coming from.

Also, there is lots of lateral movement in my "janky" mount. Haven't driven it yet but I'm afraid it's going to be too much clanking between the hood and fender for my liking. May have to order a ditch light bracket and put my antenna on it.

    Stuff. Also things.
    Damn, that sucks!

I would check both of the big grommets that have cables and stuff passing through them in the firewall. I think there's one on either side, IIRC. I'm almost positive that I'm getting a little bit of water coming through one or both of them and NOT my tub welds, so it might be worth checking out.

The thing is, the truck has been parked for a week or so through all the rain we had. Do you think water could get in there just sitting? I have tampered with it a little when I brought my air compressor wiring into the cab.

The truck sits across an incline with the driver side (where the water is) up hill. There is usually some water that pools just outside the door sill. nitnsure if it could find a way through/around that or not.

Always on the sunny side. A leaky truck is a truck that needs me to grab some brew and spend way too much time fixing it.

I'm 95% sure I have water coming in from my small windows. Do what I did, park it nose up, up hill and see where the water pools and park it nose down and see where it pools. I had water run from the channel in the back and pooled under the foot well, when facing downhill, or just staying in the back when uphill. Or the faster way to test is simulate rain from a hose.

Good idea. Might pull the interior again and get the kids out in the yard with the hose pipe for an inspection.
