Didn't have a 24mm with me last night. Swear it felt tight with a pair of channel locks.

Aaaaand my new alignment now has me rubbing like crazy in the pinch weld/fender flare area.

This didn't make sense at first, but I think I figured it out. Increasing caster at the LCA moves the bottom of the tire forward, away from the firewall. Increasing caster at the UCA moves the top of the tire rearward toward the firewall.

I **think** what's happening here is that increased caster I have from the new UCAs (top of tire more rearward) is going to need
To be offset with more caster at the LCA (bottom of the tire more foreword) to keep me out of the firewall.

i think I'll have to move the caster up around 3.5* and/or do more cutting in the fender wells. Will start with the cutting tm because I'd rather not mess with the alignment again. Drives great.

When you think you're doing great work by beating the shit out of your pinch weld like a $2 mule...

Then your passenger door won't open anymore.

    Well, alrighty then.

Jammed my fender into my door with a hammer. Reversed the angle of my swing and unjammed my fender from my door with the same hammer.

Here's what I ended up with. Cut more out of the fender flare. The white tab you see used to point forward and hold the fender well liner. Bent it up and back. Wedged the liner behind it.

Can't make it rub in the yard or in the big ditch by the road. Pretty sure it'll rub like a cat on a leg wheeling though. Probably go for another alignment this week. Shoot for 3.5 caster or so.

@Dave41079 talked to a guy who went to golden mtn today. Kirk in the bigass FJ a few pages back. Described it as "alright"

With a hammer this big it would be a terrible waste to only swing it one way

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
    Nailed it.

Doubt you'll be able to add that much caster though, cams are probably maxed for caster with 0 camber. I run 1-2 degrees of negative camber to improve caster. Helps in the corners too, but does add a touch of inside tire wear.

If the truck drives good with the current alignment, I would fix the problem permanently with an angle grinder and a BFH.

Idk, I'm thinking I might be able to get it. Check out the pre-alignment specs. Holy caster.
