Looks good, I'm about to start this project as well. If you had done this in the engine bay would you still have had to lengthen the harness?

Thanks! I thought the same thing but the Jack is stored on the driver side and this one isn't wide enough to hold the tire tool bag. Not sure.

No sir. I had it mounted in the engine bay of the other truck and I trimmed the excess wire. I didn't want to put it in the bay of this truck because i couldn't keep it as clean as I wanted.
Somehow I don't think a 5 hour drive for a 1 hour job would be practical. Ha ha.

It was meant to hold the spare tire tools. Surprised yours didn't come with it. I like that idea of putting the compressor there. May go that route when it comes time

Irrelevant now. Ha ha. Having air in the truck is sooo nice. Not just for wheeling, I use it all the time.

My headlights were looking pretty hazy and yellow, so I cleaned them up. I used Meguires PlastX. I am very impressed.

I taped off the lens so I didn't scratch my paint, sprayed the lens with water, and sanded it with 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper, followed by 2000 grit. Then, you simply polish the lens with the PlastX.

    Before

During. Notice the difference between the left and right side of the lens.

    After

Cut & broke off some stuff.
do those use bulbs or do you replace the whole thing? My toyota experience jumps from 1988 to 2005 so I don't know when they updated. On my 88, the bulbs & lens was one piece.

You learn something new every day. Ha ha. I'm a little behind on the cool kid terminology.

Those are awesome, but I have a ton of other stuff the truck needs before headlights.
