what the hell is that thing? The smallest tour bus ever? I used to have a toyota based RV, looked nothing like that. 5 years working at a dealer never saw that thing.
    I want it.

I don't need to use the rear locker (anymore) because of the A-TRAC... which turns my 2010 Tacoma into a tractor. This is my third 4WD Off Road Tacoma and the first one with A-TRAC... It is truly light years ahead in traction ability over previous 4WD systems. Too Bad you haven't read my other posts on off roading in Baja and the desert with my Tacoma. Not gravel roads, either.. ;)

I predict that the 2012 will use the same engine as 4runner and a facelift to match.

I know a lot about everything.. yea. Especially when compared to a lot of the internet public. I don't live with blinders on. Been around the block a few times and have a great memory and insatiable curiosity. Its rare that I'll be without any experience or knowledge on any given subject, and I'm not prone to believing the first thing I read, so it's usually accurate. I was also a researcher for several years. I mean, kind of like a paralegal for any possible topic and remember almost everything I ever looked up. Did a lot of investigating in lieu of real work.

Thing is, memory is a strange thing. I find I have to go back and check facts now and again, as the memory will kind of run things that are similar together to save space.

The badging on that truck said " Vangaurd " there's a couple more pics of it in my gallery . After looking it up , I don't think Vangaurd is the model name , but actually the name of the company that built this thing from the Toyota chassis .

On another note for you Mr Island , the Canadian dollar is still worth more than the US greenback .

I'm trading up for that. Love the addition of a camper. Probably a little more cozy than my shell.

I predict the 2012 OR will be 11 levels of awesome for the same MSRP since I just purchased a 2011 OR, and that's how shit goes.

    I fully expect:
    - stock 36 MTs
    - front and rear lockers
    - super duper pants wetting "ATRAC+1" (optional)
    - SC V8, and Turbo Diesel engine options each offering 32 MPG combined driving
    - full skids and rails
    - all new "god winch" standard
    - 10,000 lb towing capacity
    - physics defying 4.5 sec 0-60
    - new system similar to OnStar, but with free beer delivery button
    - new Toyota Care, with free gas or diesel for five years
    - even more stickers

That'd be interesting- the 4runner face on a tacoma

Curious- has anybody photoshopped a taco and 4runner mixed together?
