I think i would rather have the dual vvti 1grfe than a v8. I think the 4.6 will just add more weight to the truck. Whats the HP rating on that motor? Also i wish i had the Atrac! :(
but then again all my truck see's is gravel roads so i'm good! :D

Looking more like a Scion/Hummer/Explorer Sport all angled out and boxy. If Toyota goes that way I will not be sorry to hold on to mine until they come to there senses and stop trying to look like a Nissan. I quit buying 4 Runners when they got bigger and boxy.

Hey guys, I want to buy the new 2012 redesign as soon as it comes out. I just have a couple quick questions:

    1. Should I get a "sport" version or "offroad?" Which one of those will have the V8 option?

    2. What spacer lift should I put on it? It'll just be for looks as I don't do any serious offroading.

    3. What are the biggest tires that will fit on the new design?

    4. Will the redesign still have A-Trac? I've heard that's really good, even though I don't know exactly what it does.

    5. What's the exact mileage the new truck will get? How much exactly will that change with the lift and tires I put on? I drive nearly 1000 miles a week and if it doesn't get at least 26.5mpg I won't be able to afford the gas.

Thanks a lot for helping, fellas!
