    Here's the shifter...
Found a cobbler (believe it not these still exist), who is restitching the wire in for me.

Wish they had a boot for us 6MT owners.

I contacted them about it, they are interested in designing one but need a stock boot to measure against.

Unfortunately their manufacturing office is in eastern Europe and the shipping to get a boot there is nearly the cost of a new boot alone.

i would consider doing that installation if it paid me money, gave me low torque, and helped me sleep better. short of that, no deal lol. looks nice tho.

What about the baseball stitching in red to match the TRD Pro knob?

I did all black in all three pieces.

Doing it over again, I would only do (recommend) the shift boot.

All black looks good. If I did it again I would choose solid leather like yours.

    Thanks, @Siblue .

I am happy with the color and materials. The shift boot is much better than stock. The brake boot is nice, but the bracket (bent wire) is not nearly stiff enough. It is okay. The console cover is crap. Nice leather, but it does not fit well, is a PITA to install, esp given their instructions, and the extra height foam is nowhere stiff enough. I would recommend the person posting in the BST forum if you want that. I might hit him up this winter to try and fix it.

I used Redline when I had my 05 TL 6spd. Did the steering wheel (A-Spec), shift boot, e brake, and center console arm rest. Was thinking about using them again for the Taco. Great product.

Did you install it yourself? I've had an e-brake boot and a shift boot I picked up on Craigslist about a year ago but the install instructions have made me hesitant to give it a shot myself. I haven't really had much luck finding a professional to install it for a reasonable price either.

Yes. I installed them myself. The shift boot was relatively easy, just following the instructions. The brake boot took some finessing. The OEM boot is a piece of cake.

Does anyone know where i can get a custom ebrake or shift boot? I want like a camo design but I’m just wondering how hard it’ll be to fit etc!

Used these guys for multiple parts on my Trans Am from alcantara to nappa leather. They are legit, only issue is they are based out of Poland. Years ago shipping took awhile, tracking wasn't available and to produce new parts you would have to ship something overseas to them. Work is top notch though.

Is that the only negative on the brake boot- the bent wire/bracket add on? Would you of opted out of the add on bracket and reused the oem if you knew?
seems strange to know that if you don’t buy the add on wire that you’d have to use your oem wire (per instructions) but then require you to unstitch in order to do so. Would you buy the add on now that you know?

That and the small end is a bit larger than it should be. It hasn't slipped off though.

After this long, I still feel the same. The shift boot is sweet. The other two, I'd skip them.

See I couldn’t just do the shift without the brake. Didn’t plan on the center console though. If you think about it tomorrow could you take a pic of the boot (and the loose end). I know the stock boot hole is tight and almost needs to be rolled off. I wonder if a small zip like the shift boot would help

Will do. No space for a zip tie like there is for the shift boot.

    The OE is quite tight.
