Amazon basics oil, Kirkland and Walmart super tech is all made by Warren distribution. It's supposed to be all fine oil.

The OP has a 3rd gen so if it's a v6 then 0w20 oil is going to be required. All of them are synthetic oils.

I run Redline because unlike Mobil1 it means i'm a elite and like a fine wine I can talk about it. I think Mobil1 is so bog standard that even mums buy it with their cat litter at Tesco.

This would absolutely be the sort of thing I’d do, which is why I now drain into this:

I need one of those and a splash guard. I can be clumsy too and while I have a nice pan that's plenty big it's a little flimsy to pour from the corner in to jugs to recycle. I always soil some cardboard in the process.

There’s no way around it, you need some cardboard or a rubber mat or something, unless you’re good with the speckled oil decoration on your garage floor or driveway.

I really like the plastic 5 qt Sherwin Williams metered paint bucket for the smaller fluid drains…diffs, transfer case, tranny. Nice and tall, pretty much no splashing out.

I might start using that here in Arizona where everything is flat and every drive is 30-50miles one way. Right now I have supertech in my truck.

Tell that to my wife! she spends more on Virgin olive oil, uses it to cook, then it go's to the dump after one use. Just silly.

I do like those. Nice and deep too. Good handles. Only thing is you can't carry it to recycle like that other type. But that's ok I still have some empty gallon Rotella T6 jugs in the shed.

That's so true it's hard not to loose a little on the ground. I have a stone driveway so I really don't care about if it was asphalt or a garage floor. Defy if I move to a different house I'd try to get a garage of once. Probably epoxy paint the floor for easier clean up then.
