I just ordered the max lift and curious about mounting points as I already have the regular set on my Taco (my wife also a '18 Taco and intend to swap my regular to hers and put the max lift on mine). Looks like the upper bracket moves further out on the hood.......how about the lower bracket? Just curious how many new holes I will need to drill?

For the MaxLIFT both the lower and upper brackets are mounted in different locations to our standard system.

Reading descriptions it's not readily apparent what the difference is between Plus, PlusMax, and Elite?

They all seem to raise by 7", and I can't imagine the only difference is the finish applied.

Fair warning to you and anyone else with ditch lights... Make sure that opening your hood that additional 7" won't cause your ditch light to contact the windshield/A-pillar.

Edit: Aside from that, congrats on purchasing some redlines, you won't be disappointed.

Crap. I have the Redline standard lift on my 'Taco. Love it, but wish I bought the Max lift version now. I was planning on just buying the max lift struts later if necessary, but don't want to drill and rivet any new holes. Plus, that manual riveter is a challenge to squeeze, especially after you just had Carpal tunnel surgery...

I got these in the last GB. The max lift is awesome. I highly recommend these.

@RedlineTuning, been rocking your max lift since Christmas. One of the best mods hands down (if you still have hands after riveting 8 stainless steel rivets).

Curious if you have heard any feedback on compatibility with ditch lights and your max lift system.

If you look closely at the Blue Taco on our website that has the MaxLIFT installed, he had the ditch light brackets installed. He later added the lights and reported no interference issues. If you already have the lights installed and want to check if our Max LIFT will work with your application, just raise the hood 7inches higher than the stock prop-rod and check for clearance.
