    Do the struts lift the hood higher than the prop rod? I ask because I have overhead racks in my garage and currently I can open the hood without hitting the racks. I'd like to add a set of struts but am concerned they will push the hood too high. Can anyone give me a +/- over stock height?

    I just have to say- two Tacomas, two sets of hood struts. If you're on the fence about this at all, just pull the trigger. These guys are great, their product is phenomenal, and every Tacoma I ever own will have them.
