    Damn these things turned out to be the biggest pain to install. I may honestly have a set up for sale if I can't get them to fit with a closed hood. Both sides don't fit as right now with my current set up

    The drivers aside was hitting my fuse panel and my led drivers. But that is easy to fix/ relocate. The passenger side comes down right on my filter box( volant cai). I have always wanted the hood struts but I don't see how to make the passenger side fit

    Debatable topic but most argue the CAI to not do anything anyway performance wise. So maybe go back to stock or remove that big cover for it and install a different shroud to give more room. This of course if you have your heart set on the new struts.

    Yeah I thought about that, I only got it hoping to boost mpg with the maf calibrator from Urd.If I can't figure it out im selling one of them on here for sure

    What do you mean exactly by install a new shroud? Like the entire box that houses the filter?

    Sorry I think the proper term is "shield". Something like this to maybe give you more room. If you don't do a lot of off-roading I would not see it being an issue.
