    Got mine today - just have to figure how to use a ruler. I think the difference is finish. The cheapest one has little or no finish. The next one up has black finish. The top one is all stainless steel. There might be more to it then that but not much more.

    Well duh ! I just reread the instructions and they warn you to use electrical tape 1/4" from the tip of the drill bit to stop it from hitting the hood skin and it is in red to - double duh. Read the instructions. Just finished installing mine. WARNING ! When you drill for the rivets on the top bracket be very CAREFUL . Once you get through the first layer the drill bit will hit the hood and put a pimple :eek: in it unless you are very careful and stop pushing the drill the moment it goes through. When you drill for the bottom bracket you may want to put some tape on the upper metal so when the drill goes through the lower level it doesn't take the paint off. The first warning is much more important.

    Now that I have the hood supports installed my hood does not open as far as it did with the stick. I'm sure I measured as per instructions. Has this happened to anyone else ?
