It's not that bad to tub, only takes a day to do. Well worth it.

Is yours a daily? Maybe down the road when it's one of the official weekend rigs

Yup, do 40-60 miles a day. I will say regear is a must, makes driving it a lit more comfortable. I never realized how much of a deference it would make.

Damn son! That's impressive! I don't like 265's on stock gears going up a hill so I'd hate to have 3 more inches and stock gears :annoyed:

May head out to Uwharrie this summer, hope to see this beast in action

Being a manual it really want terrible, no worse than the 33s I had before. Are you sock 4.10s or you 3.90?

I'm going to assume stock, once I get 285's I'll jump up to 4.88's IIRC (being manual and all)

I doubt I'll be at Uwharrie much over the summer, usually fall/winter when I'm out there the most. This year I may not get to ride near as much as I want to just because of having a baby on the way. Mainly focusing on hitting my clubs big rides like Windrock, OBX, and Potts plus our local veterans day ride and Christmas party at Uwharrie.

That's be over geared like a mofo with 33s but it would be great for off-road. That was my plan actually which is why I have 4.88s, got them before I even thought about going 35s.

When he says it takes one day to do a tub job he means one day of three people barely talking, not eating and from sun up to sun down lol comfortably can do it in 2 days....

That's more what I figured. Gonna do it with my buddy in two, say over his place a night or something.

I think Dylan has a 4.56 third for the 8.4

New radio and cb installed. Now I may have to change the dash lighting out for blue to match everything.

Bearcat 880, has a lot out colors to choose from plus a long list of other features you usually don't get on a cb.

Finally put my skids back on today. Also changed out the cb coax and tuned the cb radio with the help of my buddy Jason. I think the firestick is holding it back some. Will probably pick up a regular whip on the way out tomorrow. Had changed the belts and oil earlier this week. The old belts were on their last leg.

Had repainted the skids so they'd look a little better, kinda like polishing a turd really.
