I have read posts but still confused regarding the addition of compressor oil to the system. After measuring the oil in the old unit and adding the same to the new comp, do I add the required oil directly into the new condenser? Is blowing compressed air threw the system after removing the comp. enough to remove junk? Thanks for any help with this, if I font,t get it fixed it will be driving with the endows down, to much money for a shop visit.

There are plenty of choke points that accumulate debris. The expansion valve is the main one. Blowing air through the system with them connected can plug it up.
Also, any time you open the system, you should replace the dryer. The dryer's desiccant can only absorb a small amount moisture(moisture ices and plugs the system), and be saturated by the moisture in the air while you work. Running a vacuum on the system will not remove the moisture from the desiccant.
Anytime you disconnect a joint, replace the O-rings. They are not reusable.
