That's a tack for either tar paper or vapor barrier.

Shits gettin real on the ol RC!!! Pro tip paint all the white that is behind the bumper black it'll make it look a lot better. I did it to the silver on mine. I had the silver showing through for a little while and it looked like poo

Yea it was just long enough to make some tiny air bubbles so I said hell and just plugged it.

I’m trying lol! That drill bit did three holes and was throwing sparks on that last one, I probably need to clean it there or paint won’t stick. I’m thinking about pulling the grill and spraying it black the surround is faded, then I’m also thinking about a color matched off eBay for $250 or another homertaco grill for another $100.

I've got so much shit, I'm gonna have to do A LOT more TW expressing for that

ARB bumper, water pump, thermostat, coolant, head/fog wiring upgrades, camper shell track bars, then I need to do the FJ case swap and T4R brake upgrade :anonymous:

Lol it’s fun working on the stuff I just run outta $$$, the bumper is definitely a two person job. I’ve not done a water pump yet so learn for me, the brakes sound easier than the water pump lol.

I got my plates test fitted lines up good, hopefully I get a chance to weld it up at work tomorrow. Gonna attempt to do it myself o_O been awhile since I welded.

I don't assume it'll be much different than my TJ. I replaced that one.

If I could weld, I'd have "projects" all over the place

I can make things stick last I tried lol, I just got a freebie stick welder. This one I’ll use is a pretty nice Miller mig unit.

Throw the bumper in the back of the truck and run up to Home Depot and give one of the day workers $20 to help.

I've watched a YouTube vid where a guy built a LC80 by himself. He used an engine hoist to mount his ARB bumper. I figure it'd work just the same :notsure:

Yea I don’t have a hoist or that’d work kinda the same idea as hooking a battery to the winch let it dangle and get the truck close and swing it lol. I don’t have my skid steer or I’d use that, I hope the coils hold it and don’t sag too bad.

I'm curious about my Dobinson IMS struts/coils holding my ARB. I set them at stock height and still got some lift. I'm hoping worst case, I just need to adjust the IMS's to get some height back.
