the bumpers were about 1700 and then 500 for sliders and skids. I have already installed a OME heavy duty lift kit ready for the added weight.

When they installed your light bar did you have to cut the valence or bumpber at all to get it to fit? also when installing lightbar mounts do you know if they can be installed with bumper on or does it have to come off?

now with the OME Coils which are you going to go with?883,884,885,886? I know you just got your additional parts so i wasnt sure if with added weight if you were gonna go with the 885, 886 models are 200+ additional for your bumper and your sliders.

Finally got the Diff Breather Mod done (very overdue). It was quick and easy..

Ran the line up to the frame then back to the tail light. Used an existing hole behind the drivers side tail light.

OP, how does the truck ride without the spacer lift? My truck was handed down to me, and no one in my family really knows about cars or trucks, so my dad just has spacers. I'm interested in switching to a suspension lift. and how are the nitto's? a buddy of mine said they wear down very quick

So the OME lift is for sure an improvement from the spacer lift. Its still pretty stiff on the road but I dont mind at all. The difference is offroad. I had no problems with my spacers on the street but offroad they were a nightmare. I would say the switch to OME was well worth it.

The Nittos are seriously great... dont expect them to ride like a highway tire, but for a mud tire they are killer. They roll smooth on the highway at all speeds and are quieter than most other mud tires.. they are great offroad, even aired down they have held up in all conditions. I have kept mine rotated every 5-8k miles and they are wearing very well. I have almost 40k on this set and still have atleast 5k left.

Awesome build! Wish I had armor like that! You should really consider getting the cooper ST Maxx! They have great traction just like the nittos with a super aggressive tread but they're much more quiet and almost ride like an A/T! What's making you want a different tire? Are the nittos just coming to their end tread wear wise? They're great tires off road!

Thanks man! For anything and everything armor, I cant say enough about Billy from Brute Force Fab, standup guy with some kick ass armor! The Nittos have been awesome, driven very hard offroad and they still have life after 40k! but they are getting to the end of their life. I think Coopers will be next because Im doing a lot more highway driving these days. I did not have to do anything to fit my 285/70r16s and now im moving up to the 285/75r16, what all did you need to do? I saw in your build CMC and pinch weld? How did you go about those mods..

The Nittos are definitely great tires! The only thing that bothered me with them (not too much though) was the highway noise, sometimes I liked it because it sounded cool but other times it was annoying, but those things are tough! And I had a local fab shop do my CMC and pinch weld, they specialize in Toyotas and did a great job! I don't weld at all so having someone else do it was a must, also they know a lot more about it and did a really professional job on it. It ran me about $270 I believe but it was well worth it. And at the same time they were doing my CMC it was in the shop getting my new suspension parts installed so it all worked out nicely!
