Never knew you weren't locked and geared. I'm shocked judging this build!

Oh dont you worry.....its going to happen soon enough my friend.

Lately just been doing small stuff and getting the truck caught back up in life.

    - New double DIN installed with steering wheel module...so nice to have the wheel buttons working again.

    - New CV boot for drivers side inner

    - Fender flare clips should be in maybe tomorrow and flares re-installed the next few days.

    - Need to drop the front drive shaft and service it.....Does anyone have a spare they might want to sell?

    - Washed her the other day....just as dirty as it was before the wash at this point.

    - Lightforce 170's are off. Replaced them with Vision X Light Canons. So far I am pretty happy with the change. Also the lights are smaller so it doesnt look taken over on the front with big big lights....also keeping air flow to the front end. Will be ordering a third light canon for the front soon.

Probably more I am forgetting, hope everyone had a good holiday. Merry late Christmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Some night shots of those light canons would be awesome! How do they compare to the 170s for output/distance?

On the HWY headed into Calgary one morning, thought the HWY looked pretty cool.

Finally got around to the body mount chop. I don't rub anywhere currently.

The filler plate was also pounded back to allow for more clearance. Thanks Nick for the metal work!

I had a CV boot open up on me so I got a cv rebuild kit and found my way over to spoonmans for some greasy fun. While we had the axle apart it was a good time to find out if mine was rubbing in the same way his was.

So many people in my area run the Lightforce off road lights (170's/240's) I was running 2 of the 170's with plans to have three in total. I wanted something different though so I started looking into the Vision X light canons. I decided to pull the trigger with those and after running for a month or so with 2 of them installed I will be ordering my third very soon along with a few other goodies from them.

I think I only have one older night shot with the Lightforces and I will need to get a shot with the Vision X at night to give some comparison in the near future.

The lights were very very easy to install didnt take long at all. The light output from a single 25W LED is insane. Also what I really like is the fact that the lights come on full strength right away. As to the lightforces having a short warm up time frame. Yes they were bright too.

    IMG_5336_zps406ffbc3_1769930e0a97d48cfb169fb1c5e37c1f18f53e75.jpg
    IMG_5339_zps8075c068_69b7a4ee119bf611050ae421065fdca0edbfef14.jpg

I also like the fact the Vision X Light Canons are a bit smaller in size. This keeps better air flow to the front end.

Got a call one morning to go help out Jamie hahaha

Then we decided to play for a few minutes. He found some really deep stuff and it resulted in an epic picture.

I finally got my edging put on around the cut edge of the flares. After hearing about some people having issues with the glue not holding in place I decided why not try some added help. I ran a small bead along the mating edges on the inside of the flare which gave me this result.

This area is where we noticed a difference of about 3 lbs of tire pressure and having a locker makes a big difference.

    IMG_5401_zpsa8f4730b_368942b7f281d2af9330fbb327e1e117bf082f4f.jpg

I was breaking trail at this point and my front end wanted to just keep going deeper into this wash out. We decided winching out was the best idea. Felt a little dicey but I think it was a solid easy out recovery. I had tracks laid in place also now for Jamie.

    IMG_5380_zps7b80c686_9ce0bd4045d84952aca4c0408a895f3907a76429.jpg

Front end came through ok and the backend looked like it might not come up but sure enough it popped right out of the whole and saved some winch time.

We both had a go at this hill. There was A LOT of ice hidden under the snow. Again lockers and a lower pressure helped but still not enough to conquer the hill. Jamie was running at about 8psi and I was around 10psi.

I got a decent deal on a double din head unit and since I really like the way it fills out the space in our dashes I decided I might as well get one and installed it along with the steering wheel control module. So nice to have steering wheel buttons working now...and I found out they light up! Win win.

This dash is way to easy to take apart haha literally 2 minutes to have half the truck apart inside

I ran the mic up here so it was central. also trying to keep speaker feed back down so I dont make phone calls super echo'E sounding. So annoying for people talking to you.

Made it out for another snow run. This was the CT4WD Jan one day run.
It ran pretty late due to a lot of winching and recoveries. But it was a pretty fun day in the deep wind blown snow. Had really no issues at all myself. One small tug from Jamie to get me rolling again. Here's a couple pictures.

This is Toyota related I guess. A couple weeks ago a lady ran a stop sign and used the side of my work Van for a braking system. It worked. The Matrix compared to the 1 ton work Van.
