I had a turbo subaru that my neighbor knew how to plug a laptop into and he made it faster and more fuel efficient. Fast forward 10 years, i would like to know if this is an option for my 2012 4.0, non-supercharged taco, with afe intake and exhaust?

    Thanks

Maybe maf calibrator for minimal gain.
Wont be faster tho, governor takes care of the fast part.
Ur looking at wiring into the ecu btw, and doing ur own tuning.

As mentioned above, URD has the Ucon tuner for the early second gens, but not for the later model trucks. I think at least one member has successfully wired it into a late model truck, but it was a massive custom wiring job. Toyota offers a reflash to support the SC to increase AFRs but it won't help NA trucks. In short, no.

Bummer, I've heard and experienced great things from a good reflash. It's a great bang-for-buck mod for performance.

I am betting that late this year, early next year, the UCON will be available for your year model. Unless you want to buy the supercharger kit, then it will be available right now.

I want to buy it, but it's not in the financial reality I want to create for myself.
