Searched the forums, and saw a cool pic of a guy carrying an actual kitchen fridge in his Tacoma, but not exactly what I was looking for, but good to know it can be done :)

For an overland/expedition set-up, if I wanted a bed rack for my RTT, is there a set up to mount a fridge (ARB-type)? I'm not a big shell guy but it seems like one is unavoidable if I want to kit a Taco out with a kitchen and fridge.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

I run a fridge and don't have a shell. I'm not quite sure why that would even be required.

I will say for food fridge > cooler.

Should have been more clear - for security I guess. Otherwise, its fairly accessible to others and the elements? Or no?

    Thanks.

This is what I am looking at, just need a secure way to mount it to the bed.

Any secure bases for fridges that anyone knows of?

This is a really good site for fridge mounts. I'll be ordering a slide from here eventually.

As for security, they are a fairly easy target. But if you have a bed rack, gear, everything strapped down, and the tail gate closed they are pretty hard to get out. If you have a low profil rack they are pretty much impossible to get out.
