Bought some Bilstein 5100's to level out my 2010 regular cab. Anybody know the correct setting to level out a regular cab (being they're lighter than a standard cab and supposedly aren't affected by the TSB)?

    Thanks

Should be 0.85" to level with stock rear.

2.5"? Do you have an AAL or anything in the rear? Is your sig pic before or after the shock install? I was wondering if it should be a little more being the 2010 regular cabs don't qualify for the TSB. Does the 2.5" make your truck level or is it reverse rake now?

Any pics would help. Also, what sliders do you have on? Been thinking of ordering a set from Avid. It's rare to see a regular cab with them.

My sig pic is before the lift. I went with 4 Billies with the front set at 2.5". Used Toytec non-TSB 1.5" AAL's. With the stock rake of the 3leafs, the truck sits level(maybe .5" higher in back hard to tell).
Will try and get a new pic.

The sliders are Avid weld-ons. I choose a different angle on them than most that have them to give me a little more foot room to use them as a step.
I can also use my Hi-lift jack anywhere on those bars to lift the whole side of the truck.
Plus I have the Avid light bar too so have a matching set as far as tube size.

Nice. What size tires you running? I recently upgraded to the 265/75r16's. Been kicking around putting on an AAL but don't want the tires to look too small. Did you do a diff drop? Planning on going tomorrow morning to get these installed so any help soon would be greatly helpful. Thanks.

updated the sig, I am using 265/70/16's atm on 4runner wheels.
I am going to 285/75/16's when I can get the $$$
Have not done the diff drop. Going to drive a bit and see how it does.
Some do not need it, some find that they do. depends on the truck/tires/lift etc.

Thanks for the help guys. Here's a pic with it set at .85" at the front and stock at the rear. Real happy with it. May got with an AAL in the rear at some point and jack up the front but we'll see. Still trying to decide if I want to leave the center caps off or put them back on.

Thanks. Love how it looks and rides. A lot smoother and feels more aggressive on the road. Also noticed that with the truck leveled out, the bench seat is more comfortable cause it's tilted back a little.

good to know, i'm looking at gettin a 1.5 AAL for my truck sometime and was thinking of doing the .85 setting in the front. now looking at yours, i think that would create some ridiculous rake. i do like the factory rake, but anymore than that eh...

oh and i say leave the caps off, i'm biased though, i took mine off and painted the wheels black.

Cool. If you get a chance, mind sending me some pics of how it looks with your wheels painted black. Been thinking about doing that as well.

Do you have a before/after comparison of the billies at 0.85?

Are you looking for pics or dimensions? I definitely have pics but they're on my home computer (still at work). Dimensions I can figure out. Let me know.

Both :). I have a 4cyl as well and I am curious to see if the billies give use more than the avg. 0.85''. I'm debating between 1.75 and 0.85.

The Bilstein 5100's are the ones to get. My family got them from Downsout Motorsports. They give TacomaWorld a discount and were by far the best price I could find. I haven't noticed any vibrations and actually the truck seems to ride a lot smoother than previously. Will take pics at lunch today and post them up.
