I recently made a post about which gear set for a 35…. I went to my local shop and they talked me into a 295/70r/17 10 ply tires. That way I can air down to 5-10 psi and not have to tub and trim the shit out of my truck.

so the question is. Is it necessary to regear. Or will my stock 4:10 be okay? Again almost all my wheeling is done in 4lo. But am I putting the truck in jeopardy by not regearing.

Not in jeopardy, but you will see why you should regear. You may me be more likely to break things, but I wouldn't worry too much.

No. I ran 295/75r16 for years without regearing. Many people run 285s without and are fine.

It is nice, but not required.
