Sibi Built. There is another shop in the Corona area, but they have a history of bad builds.

Sibi built in OC is the place. They are booked pretty well out tho.
That shows how well they do business.

I went to @premierweatgears and they did a great job with my rear locker. When I looked them up I thought they had pretty good reviews and they have always been there for any of my questions even after the work was done

I just had them regear and install a front ARB. They have great reviews. I'm just curious if it is the same place he is talking about.

What were y'alls setups and costs?

I'm considering ECGS, 4.88 F/R, ARB air lockers
haven't figured out which to choose for
-solid spacer ($$) vs crush sleeve ($)
-new bearings ($$) vs used ($0, may not be option)
-harmonic stub shafts ($$) vs used ($0)
    etc

I believe they send you built units to swap in. Take out cores, mail back
I *think* last time I calculated it, was $3500
which is a deal, given front locker $1k part, rear locker $1k part, regear kit $1k
    =$3k + 500...
but the price goes up quite a bit when I start checking the boxes for all the other stuff technically needed to pull this off
the whole return label, core charge, call tag, whatever stuff

I'll go over KFlo's video series on it again; he did the same, and likely posted the initial cost, and total at the end after core is refunded all said and done

so while it sounds more convenient to drop it off somewhere and toss a shop the keys,
not when it's 4 month wait time booked out
bcuz ECGS likely ships those parts to you in 6wk or less

I have heard ProGear in SD is good, and not as far booked out

Yes, I'm talking about Premier Gears. My personal experience is with the owners uncle who owns Mobil Gear Installers. After that fiasco I went to Sibi to get the job redone.

I went to Premier for a Harrop E Locker installation and they kicked some ass. Great experience, $900 installation electrical was included. ARB is A LOT MORE from what I heard on a phone conversation from someone who wanted to install an ARB system. Like thousands!

I think I paid around $1300 for just a rear ARB locker and compressor. No regear, but they did a great job in my opinion and I even got my 4runner back in the same day

I'm gonna call around and check the prices
and will research Jeep forums to see what they say including SoCal region, as they do it often

might try to just go 4.88 without lockers, see if I can keep my rear LSD or put something similar
    for driveability reasons
    and get lockers later

because F/R regear parts is approx $1000 everything new (4.88), while each ARB locker is $1k (x2) =$3k parts alone, definitely changes things
for regear alone (not adding air lockers) I'm seeing in Jeep forums guys paying $1-2k, which sounds more worth it and reasonable than $5k

that or find spare used ones to mess with and set up on my own, so they're ready to swap in
but the junkyards all want like $1200 for a dusty used old stock diff

if I find a shop that can do it that would be faster; ECGS site says 6wk lead time to order parts

hopefully it's not hard or unwise to regear first, then consider lockers later
while lockers are great off road, regear alone would make a huge difference in daily driveability
That sounds like a good deal, considering locker MSRP is like $1k/ea, not to mention compressor cost (single vs twin, etc.)

I knew a good spot in San Marcos, but seeing how I haven't been there in a while and doing a search on Google, it appears they are out of business due to COVID. Best of luck on your hunt man.

Good stuff. They were by far the best price and I have been having nothing but fun with no leaks/mechanical anomalies. The conversation I heard was a fella wanting EVERYTHING ARB. Front and rear, this and that. I believe Miguel quoted him $5,000. I was like Harrop E okay for me!

I feel like Harrop E would be the same price F/R. Maybe they went up in price but im seeing a Harrop E on ECGS for up to $1500 for a single unit just to have E-button instead of ARB air

I hope you were able to find a replacement fender cheap at a junkyard.
Why’d it even need to be removed?

That price sounds like the front locker. That’s a couple/few hundi’s more. I got mine from Mike. Super cool hombre to deal with.

    https://mikescustomtoys.com/

I love the E button a lot. I have not felt any engagement anomalies. I press the button and TRAC off on gravel, not even moving an inch, I’ll slam it to the floor, and instant Duke boys from both wheels. I don’t feel anything when it engages in a fraction of a second.

It’s such a great “quick” to work anytime locker.

I've heard mixed reviews on Premier. I've NEVER heard a bad word on SIBI. So I went with SIBI for my regearing. They did great work
