I got a 2.7L prerunner and i am buying a arb locker and since I am installing that I am going to put in new gears since they are cheap and I plan to get 285's. what is a good gear ratio and how do I know what gears work with my truck?

    I've got 4.1 stock, and I'm running 285/70R17.

The ratios and speedo aren't bad at 4.1, but the wheels are so heavy acceration is affected.

So I'd suggest going to 4.56 or 4.88.
