Does anyone have a recommendation for a trustworthy regearing shop in the South Florida area? Just picked up a set of Nitro 4.88’s. I’m willing to travel outside of the South Florida area for the right shop but somewhere close by is obviously preferred.

    Thanks!

Not sure how close you are to them but they did gears with air locker on my last two vehicles, also had them do a bunch of other suspension work. Can’t recommend them enough.

Definitely considerable if I don’t find someone closer. Most important thing to me is getting quality workmanship. Thanks for that recommendation!

I live in Miami Dade but I’m willing to travel anywhere in the south Florida area (Palm Beach, Broward, Dade) and the surrounding area. Thanks for the recommendation on the thread, I’m gonna check it out now.

Would you go with them over ECGS?

I have no basis of comparison to ECGS, other than hearing about satisfied folks here who have used ECGS.

But if it was *me* I'd likely use them, because they are local to me and have been in business a long time.

IMHO specialty shops like this only survive if they provide good service at a fair price.

True, Advanced Driveline over on near Maitland is about the only driveshaft shop I know of in Florida and the only one I've ever had recommended to me, took a shaft in for a customer to get a balance and a different end burned on and the old timer behind the counter noticed the U joints were out of phase with just a glance as I was lugging it through the door.

They've been around for a long time and are always backed up with work.

    That's a good sign usually.

Sorry for the late reply, I ended up using lux tires. They were awesome. Couldn’t recommend them more!
