Ok, I’m looking to re-gear my truck. It’s a manual. Has anyone re-geared to 5.29’s in a manual transmission. Let me know what you think. My truck is pretty heavy, it’s got to be able to tow a 4000 pound camper trailer, hit some moderate trails and still be my daily. Let’s hear it if you have already done this. As far as I can figure 75MPH with 5.29’s will be 3000 RPM’S. This seems a bit high to run the truck at constantly.

I’m not aware of anyone with 5.29s in the MT but there are a few people with 4.88s
