I picked up my Tacoma back in May 2016, it's my first truck and I love it! I'll be posting updates as more mods come in and for trips I take.

Like most, I'm trying to spend as little as possible on this build. I like buying used parts, finding good deals and getting value for my money. Let's see how it goes!

Nice looking grill you have there. I went to the Rigid website and it's not there. Where did you get it??

Never mind I found it.. had to dig a little better...

Nice setup. Like the grill. Is there an option where the entire grills is LEDs? When someone brights me, I want to melt their faces off :laser:

It's on a KB VooDoo rack. Seems pretty sturdy so far. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Nope, this is the only setup that RI has at the moment. It's plenty bright enough... I've beamed a few a-holes on the road already haha!

Trip #2: Limekiln State Park, Big Sur, CA

Poured rain on Thursday night and discovered that the annex isn't totally waterproof. There was a good amount of water inside when we woke up Friday morning, lesson learned for next time!

The wife and I decided to take the Tacoma on a road trip the week of Thanksgiving. The day before the trip I picked up some goodies.

    Mobilestrong HDP Drawers with dividers
Pelican ProGear Elite Wheeled Cooler 45 qt

We arrived at the South Camground at Zion at 7am Saturday morning.

We hiked up to Angels Landing on Sunday. It was a crazy hike for me since I'm scared of heights but man was it awesome!

    IMG_2731.jpg

We left Monday morning for Page, AZ. As we were driving through Zion we decided to pull over for a quick cup of coffee and enjoy the scenery.

    IMG_2747.jpg edited_IMG_2750.jpg

We spent the night at Page - Lake Powell Campground and then headed off to Horseshoe Bend and Lower Antelope Canyon. We were going to try and catch the Grand Canyon on the way home but the Lower Antelope Canyon Tour took 2 hours longer than expected.

Beautiful truck! Where did you run the switch for the E-series bar?

I ran the switch through the firewall and it's just dangling above the footrest in the cab for now. Haven't decided exactly what I want to do with it yet.

Got my sliders installed by DeMello Off Road. They had a couple sets that were made a 1/2 inch too high and had them on sale for $350. I was lucky enough to pick up a set. Haven't tested them out yet but they look great! Love how sleek they look.

I was getting some condensation in my Rigid bar so I decided to put a Lamin X "tint" colored film on it since I was going to take it apart anyways. Turned out darker than I though it would be but I like the look. We'll see how it affects the the light output at night.

Ended up with 1.5" lift up front and 2.5" in the rear (with fully loaded drawers and rack on). The CV angles look great so I might go up another .5" in the front. I like the rake too.

Demello Off Road did the notching of the rear top shock mount and they did a really clean job of just shaving the mount down instead of taking a whole chunk. But looking at it closer I think I might shave it down a little more just to make sure.

The front is pretty squeaky but that's normal for these I guess. I might try putting some dry lubricant. No rubbing so far.
