you will NEVER find another one in that condition and that kind of low mileage, these trucks are rare and low mileage well cared for trucks are as rare as free money and low mileage well cared for 4wd trucks are just non existant.

you gave up a true classic one of a kind gem of a truck that cant ever be replaced but you can buy another one with high mileage that needs work and has some issues so yes you can get another Tacoma one day but no you will never replace what you had there.

Well I thought I would bump this thread letting you guys know that you were right. Still to this day I regret selling my red DC and has been having the itch to get another 1st gen DC. I know my chances are pretty low for finding one in great condition like I had.

Wow!!! Good luck finding another one. Especially here in Texas. Took me 5 months to find mine and it had 160 ish on the clock. Ver clean and taken care of but shitnyours was nice. I'm in the process of getting some of the body work fixed. Try auto trader that's where I found mine at a dealer in dallas.

I know I'm going to regret it, but I am putting mine up for sale. Been a great truck that I planned on keeping...but I just don't ever use it, and just bought a lot on the river I want to develop, so she has to go.

There are lots of rust free 1st gen 4x4s on Craigslist in the Bay Area. Ive been watching CL pretty consistently the last couple of years and you can find them with 125k-150K for $10k-12.5k. Sometimes you can even find them with 80-90k for $15K. Gotta move instantly on the those low mile trucks though. I bought mine two years ago for $6600 with only 29K on it. The seller used blue price without knowing the true value of it. It should of been at least double as its brand new and was only driven 3k a year by the previous owner.
