I like these Method VEX on my MGM. I don't *want* anything to pop. I like subtlety.

Those were my wife's exact words, but she's referring to her gray dress with pink heels.

Why can’t people admit it when the colour they pick is super boring. MGM is tied with Silver sky with being ultra boring.

I like boring colours, and prefer a lighter shade of boring, so chose silver. On a differing boring day I might have chosen MGM, but in either case, no chances were taken, and no fun was had buying a truck in a conservative non-colour.

MGM is a huge yawn, and will never inspire great feelings of anything in anyone. It is however somewhat practical and doesn’t attract attention.

This is my second taco, both in silver sky. Mostly because it's easy to clean. Wife has a 4runner in MGM and it's a real PITA to keep clean.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
SCS Copper, gold or bronze will pop. I like the blacked out look on mine. Just ordered SCS matte black to replace my T4R sema matte black wheels. There will be zero exterior chrome except simulated bead locks on wheels. No regrets with MGM.

I have the 4Runner trd pros on mine. Love it. But it’s more subtle obviously. I prefer it over the chrome. And I blacked the badges out and added the pro grille.

For contrast I like the bronze...

I have zero regrets. I love this color. And unlike inferno, cement or cavalry, I know I'll still love this color ten years from now.

I hear you about boring colors. I had a white Tacoma for 8 years. It was easyish to keep clean (didn’t show dust or rainspots), but after 8 years I wanted something different. MGM was my second choice but lots of folks have it around here now, and it’s starting to get old. So I went inferno! No regrets.

But I do agree bronze is a great color for some MGM contrast!

The car I traded in for my Pantaco was charcoal metallic. Loved the color but looked dirty before I even drove it out of the driveway. Besides, dark colors in Florida absorb sunlight And make it hot AF inside and out! I went with white and find it much easier to keep clean and it stays pretty cool to boot!

I prefer a more subtle look, over something that "pops". Sometimes "less is more" in my opinion, so I went with gunmetal.
