So I've read every thread on this and most of it is double cabs. Im also keeping the rear stock and I have the 3 leaf pack. Does the 1.75 setting lift the front of a regular cab to much due to the lighter motor? Im having them installed Thursday and torn between .85 and 1.75.

    Feel free to post pictures.

Iv got a '13 reg cab with 5100's in the front and stock rear. They are set to 1.75 and its a little nose high. If the ground in level or slightly down hill you cant tell it, but otherwise it looks like your driving around looking for the dunes!HA. If your concerned about tire clearance. Iv got 265/75/16 Duratracs on Method rims and they cleared stock without the mudflaps. I still had to trim the mudflaps when I put them back on with the 1.75 lift. Here in the next month, Im going to try .85 and see how the mudflaps hold up. I'll try and get you some pics

1.75 is too tall for a 3 leaf rear pack.

I set mine at .85, BTW.. and got 1.5" of lift with my stock coils on my 2.7 DCSB Prerunner.

Which was also too tall, by about half an inch.

might be too late I had them set it at 1.75 but it should still be taken apart waiting for new lower control army bushings. Im going to call tomorrow if its already put back together I might just leave it at 1.75. Im strapped for money now since I wasn't expecting the camber adjustment to be seized up.

Does 1.75 make the drive line angles funky to were it would need a diff drop? I hope not I went in to this blind since theres so many who run 1.75 and .85

    I hear ya.

Make sure your headlights are readjusted. Nose high a half inch, and I was literally flooding oncoming traffic with my headlights.

Here's my low beams blowing up my neighbors Corolla at 30 yards or so.

    image.jpg

Notice I'm not directly in front of the car, but 6 feet off of the sidewalk that they're parked right next to, just like it would be if we were passing each other on a roadway going opposite directions.

Thats what I don't want is to be nose high. I hope they can set it back to .85 tomorrow. We will see its up in the air right now unfortunately.

Might be okay. My coils were much younger in years and mileage.

Your leaf pack is equally old (assumption) but maybe you're okay on height. You'll find out soon!

Makes sense. Ive seen some regular cabs on the forum with 1.75 and they look great also some with .85 and look the same so your theory seems correct. It seems like its truly a guessing game when it comes to this since every truck is different.

Looks like you're going to likely end up nose high at 1.75, if it's accurate to your actual lift result.

I would definitely plan on having to aim your headlights down, and coming up with a plan for the rear.

You could grab a 4 leaf OEM pack off of here from someone who bought a new pack the first week of owning their truck for under or around $200. That would bring your ass up to be level with 1.75 setting (at least, generally).

You could also get a 3 leaf progressive AAL for $145 or so, but you still have 120k miles on the leaf pack so that may not be the best use of that cash.

Thanks for the advise. Weird was they accidentally set them to 2.5 and said it sat about a half inch higher in the front but Im not sure if they actually measured it or eye balled it. Ill post pictures when finished the bushings won't come in until Monday.
