Long story, but needed the two parking brake cables for my 95.5 regular cab and put in a pretty big BAM parts Toyota order. It took forever but finally got it. Front cable went in easy enough, rear was a bear and I ended up having to cut out the little keepered pins along with the clevis's on the old rear brake cable due to rust. After the sparks flew and the cable was in a dozen parts, I come to find out, they sent me the one for an Xtra Cab (a good foot longer). Turns out Toyota has discontinued the regular cab part (46420-35530) so BAM shipped the Xtra Cab one. Unfortunately, I can't send it back cause I tore the packaging and tried to install it. No amount of fudging takes up the length needed to make it fit the regular cab so I'm back to square one. Actually, I'm worse since I destroyed the old but kind of working rear cable.

Question is: who makes the best regular cab length rear e-brake cable? Dorman's got some BS on RockAuto where they only have the right side and not the left side. The Raybestos part looks jenky AF and so does the AC Delco part.

Any regular cab guys have a OEM-like alternative?

    Stock, more or less...
I don't have part numbers, but my mechanic replaced all three cables on my regular cab a year ago. They only buy parts from NAPA, ORiely, or Advance, so one of them had it... GL~

Thanks for posting. From their online stores, it looks like they all have similar products available. All have just the right rear cable for 4WD regular cabs. I think I'll run to Napa and order one to see what it looks like. Thanks again for the info.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
There has to be some shop that can attach a new Front on the cable after you shorten it to the Length you need.
While I was working I had a Few Contacts that had that equipment !
    Good Luck!

I thought about that. If it just needed trimming and some new swages at the end, I would do it myself but it's the cable and the outer sheath that are too long and then a special looking M10 threaded swage that needs to go back on. Likely not worth potentially ruining a good cable for

there is a ton of parts trucks among these guys ......

I made sure to get a backup set of the Raybestos for my extended cab while still available
