I've got a truck I recently bought and am trying to get it dialed in. I noticed the springs on it are rather stiff and don't allow much flex. It has Fox 2.5 coilovers with 750 lb springs. I have a set of spare 650 lb springs. Plans are for a winch in the spring.

Do you think the winch would settle down these springs, or could I get away with the 650's being a regular cab? I don't want to lose ride height as I'm running 35x12.50's at the moment.

750 is waaaay too much spring. 650 should be better. What trimming was done for 35s? If the PO just used heavy springs to keep it from compressing you might have trimming to do

Fenders have trimmed two inches. Cab mount relocate and clearanced wheel well. It's BigRedToy's old ride.

Then you should be good. Swap those springs out. I've got 700lb on my access cab, with hybrid bumper, winch, agm battery, skids and sliders and don't feel 750 would be of any benefit
