Probably will because I hate driving the Subaru in the snow. I've never felt more uncomfortable driving in the snow than in that thing lol I'm hoping it's mostly because of the street tires but I don't have the money for snow tires any time soon.

I got a set of Yokohoma Iceguards for the WRX on the discount tire ebay deal on top of a mail in rebate. Going from the stock 235/45/17 to 215/55/16 as well. Just picked up a set of stock '04 WRX wheels, can't wait to test it in the snow. Should be awesome.

Blizzaks are fucking awesome. Had them on my 325xi back in the day.

Thread jack. We should go hit up some Ice Races this winter and the Lesbarus. Though mine pushes bad under power in the snow.

Oh yea, following this build now

I miss the Foz, if only for the fact that I could refer to it as "The Dyke Wagon". I'm up for some ice races. Are you talking about the ones up in Georgetown?

Did a little snow bashing in Jones Pass with @a.a.lee yesterday. It probably took a good 20 hits into that drift to make it through. It was a sheet of ice on the bottom and the crust on top made it hard to keep momentum.

    Not in any order.

Kinda sketch going up this locked front and rear, just wait for the ass end to kick and go tumbling down the mountain.

Well, haven't done much to the truck lately but hoping to get a new steering rack and redo my exhaust soon. Hopefully lce headers will give it a little more pep.

In the mean time I'm trying to get the wrx in tip top shape while not taking too much truck mod money. Was looking into regearing it earlier since it can barely crawl out of the driveway when everything is cold. Absolutely no low end torque :( but that'll have to wait until another couple grand is put into the truck. Anyway replaced the passenger side valve cover this evening. Had to get my assistant to get his paws into the tiny ass space.

Finished up installing my CVJ reman rack tonight and took it for a quick spin. First thing I noticed was how much easier it steers. Not that the old one was difficult but there is almost zero resistance in the new one. I'll be happy if I get 100k out of the reman. As far as I know the one I replaced was original with 221000 miles on it. Saved about $130 over OEM I hope it was worth it.

Also replaced the front pinion seal while the rack was out and had more room to work. Pretty easy job with the solid spacer in there.

Next step is going to be to replace my rusted out exhaust. Going to get LCE header and flowmaster 50 series muffler.

    Added some expo points.

Repainted the grill black again. Tried doing it in my cold garage hoping the heat from some flood lights would help, it really didn't. I will be redoing it when its warmer out.
