Mine was having connection issues to the pressure switch. Seems a little finicky.

Well, going through my inspection before RT and I find my lbjs are bad :annoyed: The left made it a little over a year, since last RT. Not sure of the right, maybe two years but it has twice the amount of play. This sucks if every year I'm gonna have to replace them. At that point it's almost worth, dare I say it, running Moog or something with a warranty and just replace them every year under warranty.

For OEM LBJ's? Really surprised yours wore out so quickly... Though you do a ton of offroad miles. How many miles you think are on them?

Well there was 207k on the truck when I ordered them. This doesn't mean that I installed them right then but I don't think I waited long to get them on. I need to do a better job a keeping my records lol. I'm at 233k now. So about 26k. I can't believe I but that many miles on the truck since June of 16'!

I do live on a dirt/washboard road and put some really bumpy miles on them.

Wow! $140 for OEM itr's! No wonder I went Moog with those haha.

We may be swapping lbj around a fire haha. Hopefully I can find some time to get them in before hand.

Despite the lbjs having play I still went out and had fun in the snow!

Went up Corona Pass (aka Rollins Pass) this evening. Started out as basically mud then higher started hitting snow. We followed side by side track most of the way and even saw some sled tracks. @lotsoftoys it won't be long until you can safely ride sleds on the trail! Assuming this weather keeps up.

Anywho above tree line there was a 3-4ft drift that stopped the side by side. Took two runs at it to get through and made it to the Deadmans lake trail head where we decided it best to turn around before trying our luck and being stuck at 11, 000ft overnight. With some work and better weather I think it could be bashed open to where the old hotel was.

@alee891 I need my bashing buddy!

Buddies Jeep lost a shock bolt so we just removed it.

    Stuff. Also things.
    Bad ass.

With all the rain we've been getting here, I'm not surprised there's that much snow up high already.

Looks like a good time, bud! We'll see what's in store for the Tundra over winter. I told myself I wouldn't mod it out, but life has been throwing changes at me left and right (for the better) and I may be able to start stowing away some coin to make the Tundra a trail rig over the cold months.

Be safe at RT - I'm looking forward to some snaps and a write-up once you guys return. #teamfirstgen

Haha yep. I really need to finish the other trails I have started writeups for.

New lbj's are in! Just need to grease my driveshaft, put the Nest back on and pack!

Nice truck man, kinda curious how they repaired that backhoe damage, did they do body work or swap the cab and bed?

    Thanks!

They swapped the bed for a new one and replaced the corner of the cab. I have noticed at the seem on the rocker is cracked though and something rattles at that corner.

Met up with @Tacofire98 @cynicalrider @jubei and @Squeaky Penguin Penguin to run the Kokopelli into Moab for Rock Therapy last week. I got into camp much later than anticipated on Sunday night but had a few minutes to meet Jason and Jake and catch up with Mike around the fire they had going.

Brett and I attempted to head back up it. Brett made it no problem, me not so much. Climbing the big ledge I would high center on my belly and unweighted my front tires. My rear locker was just blowing air straight out of the breather and not locking up. I ended up turning around just below the ledge with some assistance from Brett winching my ass uphill. I'm sure someone in the group has pictures of that debacle.

    Wednesday

Wednesday we had intended to head up LA Sal mountain but found the road closed due to construction work so we headed straight to town. We all fueled up and went different ways. I ended up joining Brett and @Wishbone Runner to complete a section of behind the rocks from a previous trip. The first and only obstacle we made it to was hummer hill. An extremely steep climb. At the top James found a leak in his brake line so he limped back to camp. While Brett and James headed to town I did some exploring just west of the dunes based on a recommendation from @NYCO. Found a nice overlook of Kane Creek with the cottonwoods changing color.

Hummer Hill looks almost flat in the picture.

    Thursday
Brett, Mike James and myself ran Cliffhanger. This was a fun trail but super stressful for me. Lots of off camber obstacles where a flop would have likely been a roll off a cliff. Brett kept telling me how great clutch start canceling was when in some tricky situations. I definitely utilized that feature quite a bit. I climbed back up the Cliffhanger obstacle in electric mode! It was probably a good 30 seconds of just cranking over the motor and it climbed right up! I did tag a rock with my passenger door near the end of the trail.

    Friday

Brett, James, @North (I think this is JW) and Ryan (don't know his TW name if someone wants to tag him) ran Steelbender. This was a super fun trail. Not as stressful as Cliffhanger but still had some challenging obstacles. I did not do the Fall obstacle but took the slightly tippy line to the left. Everyone else did the Fall and I think JW almost shat his pants from the bounce! I tried the final obstacle climbing out of the creek and once again my rear locker didn't want to lock up. It worked fine all day on Cliffhanger :notsure:

    Saturday

We ran Boxcar and Kamikaze point then headed to the Anticline overlook. The trails were pretty mild with the occasional need to put it in 4 low.

    Dropping into Kamikaze!

    Sunday

I don't have any pictures from the day but we took Crystal Geyser to I70. This trail had a very harsh looking landscape. Lots of high speed stuff with one technical obstacle up a hill.

Thanks for an awesome trip fellas!
