Almost ran out of gas on my way to work this morning. Usually when my fuel light comes on I've got atleast 2.5 gallons left. Today it started sputtering almost as soon as it came on. So I guess with my recent gas tank modification I've lost 2 gallons of capacity!

Pump is in the middle, and you're dent is highest there. You probably had gas in the tank everywhere besides the pickup.

I still would drop the tank, pull the sending unit, and knock as much of that dent out as possible.

Whenever I figure out what is going on with the place I'm renting I'll start pulling the truck apart. I'll probably pull the bed off, box the frame and add a shock crossmember similar to yours and fix the gas tank. Still up in the air if I want a 1" bl or not. For the tdi swap the extra room would be nice but if the swap doesn't happen I don't really see a purpose for it other than maybe avoiding a tub with bigger tires that I likely will never go to because I have no power!

Where did you crunch the tank again? And just say no go body lifts! I'd only do it for a crawl box. Does Brett have it for his 34's?

    Stuff. Also things.
Young Brett was thinking about a 1” for his ride, but decided it wasn’t for him, I think.

    You're on 34s?

Lol I noticed it after Cliffhanger but it could have been the one ledge on TOTW that my overload spring was catching too.

I honestly forgot about it lol I never see it since it's on the passenger side. I did pull the truck in the garage tonight. Hoping to have the 3rd out tomorrow and off to ECGS next week. Then looking into my clutch issue. After that I'll probably get to the door. O and then removing the bed and boxing the frame and straightening my gas tank and down then down the suspension rabbit hole.

Awesome, added to my Amazon list. Got some LED's sitting in the garage and might knock out some hood lights as a cheap fun project.
He's already on 4.88's. :p I'm assuming it's cause his locker was leaking like a mother fucker in Moab and not engaging, thus denying the conquering of Rose Garden Hill. At least it worked on Cliffhanger though!
