Front diff is back in! I hope I don't have to wrastle with doing that again in a long time.

I think I've got all the kinks out of the turbo. Installed the plx boost and afr module behind the kick panel. Using there multiguage app to view readings. The app can be a pita to connect for some reason at times. I'm hoping plx continues to build upon it. Being able to data log would be nice and more sensor support.

4.5psi boost. Slightly uphill. I'll have to do the same pull as the stock and header ones were done at but it's much improved!

Still having locker issues though. I must have some splines stripped somewhere that I overlooked when I had it disassembled. :frusty:

Success! What I thought was my locker ratcheting was actually the chain in the tcase. Glad that's over with. Hopefully no leaks coming from the used case now.

Change trans fluid, install skids, diy alignment and hopefully that's all it needs until next year.

And if you're ever bored sometime try hopping on one foot with a transfer case in your hands to the other side of the the garage.

Glad you got it sorted!

Wonder if the auto locker has anything to do with the transfer case failure? I've heard of them failing, but doesn't seem too common.

I have a wedding to attend in WV in fall of 2020. I'd like to make it back to Rausch and check AOAA out. I'll post in the PA thread and see what everyone is up to when it gets closer.

I didn't recommend this... But if you wanna test your fuel pump theory, even though it's great practice to put a higher flow one in anyway. You can put a line clamp on the return hose from the FPR to raise the pressure a bit, or if your pump sucks itll fall on it's face.

I did think about that. The open rear is really the only place that can account for different speeds when in 4x4. Thought about running 80-140 in it but stuck with 75-90. The oil was rancid, I didn't think I got water in when I flooded it but after draining it I'm almost certain I did.

I'm pretty sure it was starting to wine when it was under heavy load. Sounded similar to an unhappy power steering pump but it was coming from the rear of the cab.

I'm still only hitting an afr of 13 in OL. When I first installed the pump I hit 12. I pulled the pump because I randomly wasn't getting fuel for some reason. Not sure why. When I reinstalled it I tore the orange cap (looks like a wire nut almost) that I'm guessing prevents fuel from feeding back the return line. Maybe this is more important than I thought it was. :notsure:

A stock truck has no obstructions to the return line that I know of. What injectors and pump are you running? Chances are you just aren't getting enough fuel because the stock tune is way too lean for boost even in open loop. But you could run an FMU as a cheap way to "tune" if your injectors are a decent size.

You've always had the ADD actuator on a switch, correct? And leave it off most of the time?

Stock pink injectors and the Walbro 190. I was hoping at only 5psi the stock tune would be rich enough. I think I'll go with a piggyback at some point.
