Yes, initially I didn't but heard a pop when I was lifting so decided I should. I only did one side, not sure if there anything to gain by doing both at the same time or not.

    Good thing they are freebies.

Good to know you can do one side at a time though. What did you lift off of?

Oh and awesome work on that tower gusset. That thing is pure beef.

And ironic part is the light still works.

Used a block of wood under the door.

Thanks, I'll be glad when the driver side is done.

Same. I just pulled the lens off and tossed it. Nice little light to hold with the gun.

I just used a big ass piece of wood on my jack under the cab by the driver door, like a 6x6 or something maybe they are 8x8s. Then used like a 2x4 to rest it on the slider haha

    Worked good.

Not sure how long this has been there. I give them a look after almost every trip. Maybe I'm blind. Good thing I'm getting around to this now. Driver side gusset should be here tomorrow. Also found another crack in the sheet metal below the coolant overflow.

I only put 5k on it last year... I'm scared of what may start to crack after I have some real shocks in the front and inevitably start going faster. Maybe I should just abandon the Tacoma project and start building on the T100.

Yep. Its bent between the cab and the bed, right at the break over. Been contemplating a little bit if I can possible straighten it. It annoys me seeing the bed gap bigger at the top.

Maybe abandon wasn't the right work how bout repurpose. Daily driver/more turbo power.

Add some real rear shocks to your shopping cart too. I am of the opinion that, yes you may go faster, but less of the forces will be transmitted to the truck with better suspension. Add some limit straps to help your poor buckets too.

Ah, no, didn't realize those were the fronts with the blown out bushings. Definitely straps up front then, along with non-POS coilovers.

You don't want to build the T 100. It is a bigger shitbox than the tacoma.

Debatable. I've spent half the money maintaining that than I have trying to keep up with the failing Tacoma. Mechanically that truck is in solid shape. Visually, is a whole other story. Finally got rid of the lovely red trim in the cab this week when I installed a new passenger mirror. Just needs some new body panels on the passenger side, new seats, center console and Raptor line the whole thing and it'll be like new! o_O

Well you better get to work. Atleast you got rid of the red panels. What about the disco light in the head liner?
