Feels solid. I will say the truck is slow to crank. I'm hoping it's the battery and not the long run of wire.

Finished up my compressor install, it helps to download the correct manual when figuring out what size breaker to use. Haven't aired up tires with it yet but it's sure been handy having an air gun around to blow things off. Might put a bigger tank in at some point.

I have a neighbor with a plasma table that I can use whenever I want. Made a spice shelf for my kitchen and some small things for the truck so far. Been having difficulties with some dxf files opening in the plasma program properly so I haven't been able to cut as much as I'd like yet. 20220426_190005.jpg

Made a "socket" for the tire carrier winch. Works great with the drill or I ground down a hex on the end for use with a socket. 20220501_113827.jpg

Then some new Hi-lift mounts. No tools needed. I need to make a die for my press so I can bend these without having to make a pierce line and welding it up. 20220501_124303.jpg

How you been Ryan? Idk how I missed your high lift holster but that's slick.

For your DSC's did you order that like bent fitting that comes off the right angle fitting right off the resi? Planning in my head the rebuild of my ADS shocks and want to add those, but my current resi location will def not work for them. I was thinking of doing the crossmember mount like you did but with new ruffstuff resi mounts.

The last few months have been pretty crazy but in a good way for the most part.

I actually have a set of the hi lift mounts if you are interested.

The coilovers are whatever Fox puts on them I believe. Accutune did the tune. They seem to be doing fine attached to the crossmember.

I like the sound of crazy in a good way. I might be interested in the high lift holster™ I need to see how spacing my work for me. Mine is mounted similar to yours now for quicker access but still used wing nuts to secure it.

How do you like the DSC's for smoothing out the baby head sized rocks that tend to be annoying AF over long distances? Can you cruise over them at a quicker pace now?

They make a huge difference from setting them for washboards to going slowish and avoiding the whole rocking boat feeling. Is that what you are referring to?

Maybe? The ones were like if you go too fast you feel like you are banging around but when you slow down to smooth it out it feels SOOO slow, meanwhile the rocks are just small and pose no real threat, they are just annoying.

Killed another battery. Corroded wires breaking that weren't even a year old. Might have to just park it during winter to avoid the crap they put on the roads around here.

Where did the wires break? on the posts or somewhere under the cab where it's exposed to the elements?

How is this working out for you? I want to do a similar setup but was curious about the gas tank being on its side like that and venting with change in altitude. The rotopax units say that you're supposed to manually vent them when there's a drastic change in altitude which sounds like a pain in the ass

I haven't had any problems with it other than the appearance of the cans. The powder coat is flaking and the mag chloride in winter is giving them a nice patina. If you are interested in one I can send it to you for the cost from the laser cutter. Some welding would be required on your end.

    That's good to hear.
I'm going to design something different that works with my rear setup since I sort of relocated my rear tire carrier.
I also only plan on carrying one jerry can and wanted to add in a space for a tauler jack and maybe some spare parts
