REI Tepui Kukenam Ruggedized Sky 3 Tent 20% off

Bought this bad boy last year... And those little impulse buys here and there really add up!

 

I'm local to Tepui so I stopped by to check them both out before I made the purchase through REI.. They're even nicer in person than I thought. Camping game just went waaay up!

 

Dang. Those tires are about the same size as my truck. Nice bike

 

I have not had the opportunity to see the ruggedized in person, but want a tent that would hold up, so that is what I ordered. What are your thoughts?

 

They cost about the same as a truck tire too. The ones on my specialized are $130 / each to replace.

The guys at tepui assured me it's a bit over-engineered and will last more than a few years of heavy use! Both tents were seemed extremely well made and heavy duty. I'm picking mine up from REI tomorrow! Anyone else got theirs in yet?

 

Mine should be at the store Thursday and will pickup Friday. May mount it to the truck in the parking lot.

I bought the Autana. Comes with annex. Can't beat the price when you can pick up at an REI store to avoid shipping cost.

I'm holding out for a few more goodies before I get an RTT. Plan on roughing it for a bit till I get some spare parts, tools, roof rack and such for my new wheeling addiction.

 

I was trying to hold off but too good of a deal to pass up.

 

Just an FYI the 20% coupon comes out quarterly so if you can't get it now you might be able to get one next time. According to the coupon it's only good until April 10th.

 

Only the ones they carry. Last year they had 2.

 

Depending on the items I think you still get dividends if a coupon is used. Just as long as it was original price before hand. They may have changed it. Either way. Solid deal here. Love it when those coupons come around.

 

ha thats what I was thinking. I just got my $28 dividend.

 

If you go online I see they carry 4 tepui now.

 

Anything that isn't full price doesn't get dividend value.

Using a coupon = not paying full price.

Dunno if that's new, but was this way last year for sure.
