I’ll never be ceased to be amazed by the singular narcissistic opinion of a TW member about how everyone else should and could use their truck.

Ok, thanks for the input! I didn’t reinstall it and they didn’t seem to notice.

To those asking about how she handles, it does lean more but not enough to break the tires loose or lift a wheel or something like that. I took it easy for the first month, now I’m driving it like I normally do. I have had a few close calls since removing the swaybar and she was controllable.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that I’ve had a CDL for decades now and have driven everything from excavators to flatbeds with dozers and busses on the back so I’m fairly adaptable to what I’m driving.

I have this specific truck to keep me from driving aggressively. I don’t drive aggressively out of anger, I drive the vehicle to 6 or 7 out of 10 if that makes any sense and when I know that the particular vehicle has limitations, I adjust. Removing the swaybar makes me stay within the suggested speed on turns for example.

To those asking about the removal, it took less than 15 minutes with hand tools (well I did use a driver for the front skid plate), no lifting needed. I reinstalled the bolts back on the truck and zip tied the swaybar, bushings and brackets and it’s all in the basement.

I take her off-road whenever I have two consecutive days off. Unfortunately that’s not as often as I’d like to for the time being. But I’m ready, I even put together a recovery bag….darn this job! Not really, but hopefully I’ll have some time off soon.
