Nooooooo.... What I'm saying is, that I'm guessing Toyota (And every other car/truck company) has highly paid, qualified engineers, who actually know the dynamics/design and functionality of actual components of chassis/engine/body/aerodynamic/electrical/computer/ etc etc over that of home-brew Billy-Bob.
Compromise is always an issue, along with costs of manufacturing. No doubt. Like everything else in life. (Ask your wife.. LOL)
But the reason that certain suspension/chassis designs and decisions...
    They're there for a reason.

Truck looks fairly stock to be removing the sway bar for no reason. Why not just get a Jeep? I'm pretty sure Jeeps have a sway bar and handle pretty poorly on road, but are great offroad. I'm thinking the Ram TRX and Ford Raptor come equipped with both front and rear sway bars, and people think those things are air planes.

    Sure

But that doesn't exclude the possibility that you can modify that design to be more effective for your SPECIFIC use case, or even more often that one modification (like adding shocks that cost 10 the OEM parts) can allow other modifications.

Bottom line MY use case is not EVERYONES use case, and EVERYONES use case is how they designed the truck (while being as cheap as possible).

So.... you haven't changed a single thing or adding anything to your Tacoma?

AND remember there where "Actual Engineers" who designed the Pinto and Reliant Robin.....

What your saying is obviously right. They do know better then practically everyone. But they might also recommend you remove the sway bar on a dedicated offroader. The reason we have a sway bar is as a safety mechanism which is especially important on vehicles moving at high speeds on roads. The inclusion of the part on the Tacoma is because the truck isnt built and intended to be used as a dedicated offroader. Its built as all purpose truck with better then average off-road capabilities and clearances. So if you understand that and are able to drive safely without the part removing it could actually provide a benefit some would argue. But the enigneers do understand all of this and I really wouldn't be surprised if there is some toyota engineers with heavly modded trucks themselves.

Engineers design for a very wide range of use and users. If an individual wants to make adjustments for their driving style and use so be it. But yes they should understand why they do it and the potential negative effects. I have removed mine but I also have shocks with adjustable compression settings. With the setting can I make it drive like stock? No. But that also may be do a much different size tire. If those that want to help offset body roll from not having a front sway bar just add some weight to the rear corners of the bed.

Yet you added a topper to your truck. Don't you think if the engineers wanted an enclosed bed, they would have made one?

Get on my level, you bunch of unwashed vulgarians.

Heated seat, heated pulsating water stream with remote aiming, high powered power wash for taco night, carbon scent filtration system, and a pleasing blue puddle light for night pissing. All that plus dual flush.

It makes everything else feel worse than shitting in a hand dug hole.

Don’t bash the engineers too hard. Marketing, Accounting, and Upper Management can absolutely ruin a good design.

But the Reliant Robin - that’s just cool!

You could probably put some ditch lights and a rearview mirror on that rig.
