51 with a few mods to the truck. Also like gunsmithing and motorcycles, both street and dirt, so the mod bug has been firmly planted for a while!!

I am doing the things to my truck that help make it really customized to what I am using it for. Basically a surfing, fishing, boat-towing, and photography platform. Next after getting the suspension done the way it should have been from the factory is the pathetic excuse for a stereo and a camper shell with a bed mat and of course the oil filtration bypass. I plan on keeping this truck a long time so planning out everything and doing a little at a time.

    But it's all paid for!

I've never been one to just blend in. If there's an upgrade I want I'll buy it! :D

    Hehehehe,
Got a kick out of this. Exactly as I thought. I read about someone yanking out the stereo system, suspension, wheels, tires, etc. and I laugh to myself. Being at the upper end of the age scales for this site, I too don't expect to do many mods. Oh, I thought about raising the truck a few inches to match something similar to my old, gone, but not forgotten F150 supercrew. Lasted just a few minutes. I think to myself, I bought a brand new truck with just about everything on it I could have dreamed of and I want to add something else. Ok, maybe a set of Neoprene seat covers, a set of nice heavy duty mats and maybe a canopy-shell-topper-cap (depending on what part of the country your from). But I ain't gonna mess with a good thing, but I do love the site for all the tips and tricks. Thank you Tacoma World.
Proud owner of a 2010 Double Cab 4x4. I think I'll leave her the way I found her. K:cool:

I am 53. And the great thing about that. I can afford to buy the toys already added and not sweat the little stuff....

Smart man! Sometimes I wonder if I really should have left my grill stock instead of painting it like I did.

LED Dome, Reed Switched LEDs in Glove Box and Center Console, Bumper Fogs, Tailgate anti-theft, LEDs over Cig lighter, Back-up camera anytime, Outside Temp add-on, Hidden GPS power, Sockmonkey 3rd Brakelight decal, 4X4 switch illumination, reed switch controlled engine compartment Flood LEDs, Elite Hitch Cover, Plasti-dipped cupholders and door switch control panels, Elite Hitch Cover.
55 here....56 soon. Just got the '10 about 3 weeks ago and have done the tailgate theft thing, removed the remote lock/unlock tone, turned off the annoying seatbelt beep, LEDs for dome light.

Planned: DTRL mod, Foggers, 4WD switch lights......and having my rear springs checked by dealer tomorrow....hopefully they will upgrade springs and shocks. My rear springs have the same part number as those listed to be replaced for '05-'08.

Really like the truck so far.....a lot roomier than my '00 reg cab (which was a tough truck!!!!)
