    Hey folks,

I’ve been floating around in some threads here recently, mostly the deals and coupons and BF threads, and figured I should post in here as well.

I’ve had my taco, an 09 TRD Sport DCSB in metallic gray, since the end of 2009. Bought it as my first new vehicle and have been overall very happy with it.

Interesting tidbit, my transmission (AT) has ~5k less miles than the rest of the truck. There was a noise I heard when it was shifting. They threw the chassis ear on it to pinpoint it and not long later I had a new transmission in it. They said there were metal shavings and/or screws bouncing around in it from the factory. All handled under warranty. It’s been a great vehicle since.

I found the forum because I was recently debating buying a new taco or putting some work into mine. I’ve opted to put the work into mine and I’ve got a new rear bumper and suspension on the way on top of a few goodies I found from other members here and deals folks have shared.

Thanks for being an excellent resource on all things Tacoma and a great community so far!
