    hey all.

Just put my 3rd set of lights in our truck. I went with the smoked lenses this time. So this time im going to install some led light in the front turn signals so the halogen dont get hot in there. My question is should i just add load resistors or is there a easy fix like changing the relay out or something? Thanks for any help guys

(FYI the front turn signals aren't halogen, just standard incandescent)

Anyway, what year is your truck and does it have DRLs?

You can get load resistors but that requires cutting into your factory wiring. I would look into VLEDs 3157ck bulbs for your turn signals (in the front; the rears use a standard 3157). They offer a plug and play solution to eliminate the need to cut wiring and still allow the use of load resistors. Theyre pricy but i think theyre worth it. I have the switchbacks on my truck

VLED's all the way!! They work Great!! Plug and play resistors and all.
Love their switchback's. You can get rid of those awful Amber running lights (running lights White 6000K) and still have your Amber turn signals.

VLED will not disappoint you. They're not cheap. But like they say. You get what you pay for.
Below is the plug and play V3 Triton

you can get LED flasher Relays, just swap out the other relay and put in the new one. a buddy of mine swapped his ranger to all LED turning signals and stuff and got the turn signal hyperflash, went to NAPA and got the Led flasher relay. swapped it out and works like a charm. 30$ for the Relay. Beats splicing resistors in

Are those 5K or 6K? I want the same match you have with the led running lights.

You can buy them either color. Just pick 5K or 6K on VLED's website.
