Where is the release petcock to drain the coolant from the engine block? I drained the one on the radiator but the block still has coolant after removing the water pump? I was looking on the passengers side under the exhaust pipe but could not find it. I know I did this before just can't seem to recollect the location.

    Yes it does.

dude. Do you see what all of those pictures are pointing at? Just find the things that LOoK like those petcocks, pop a tube on them and then loosen them.

I found it. It is on the passengers side in one of the more inaccessible spots but, if you know where it is, you can access it from the above, not getting under. I had to get under to find it, then kinda blind-guided myself from the above

Be careful when you tighten them back up.
They are “soft”. Go easy don’t crank on them hard.
