What are the benefits and/or disadvantages of aluminum vs steel? Not trying to be cynical. True asking to know.

 

aluminum is light weight
steel is heavy

steel is a stronger metal
aluminum is a weaker metal

rust factor is also there


most people that run aluminum do it to cut weight

Let's get this sold. So how hard is this to put together? I don't weld but my friend owns a shop and they can do it. Let me know what the best is that we can do to get it shipped out here to Orlando. Some dumb ass slammed on his brakes and my stock bumper is no good any more. RIGHT AFTER I PUT MY NEW RETROFITS IN. Ass Hat.

@EyeNeedaTaco I Contacted him about the bumper last week, his brother who bought it from him ended up fixing the damage on his truck so he's keeping it now..
